I am an artist!

Truthfully I always have been. Even as but a boy I had always known art was to be my life. Only recently have I decided to embrace my Erotic Surrealistic Style with absolute fervor. Though my particular style is not on everyone's favorites list. It is unmistakably my own. This realization married to a fire within to paint has been the vehicle by which this web site was born.

I had been working as a professional artist since honorably discharging from the Marine Corps in 1992. I "almost" immediately enrolled at the Colorado Institute of Art. Where I did very well, attaining "Top Illustration Honors". While attending CIA I accepted a wide variety of commissioned works including: murals, portraits, illustrations, and vehicle graphics. As well as working as a Caricature Artist at Elitch Gardens Amusement Park.

After graduation, having caught a good deal of favorable notice I worked exclusively doing freelance illustration. But was lured by "The call of the wild" so to speak. Always being driven by Art, I continued to travel and paint until landing in California in 1999.

Taking a graphic designer position gave me a fabulous opportunity to hone my technical skills. I have become something of a Mac Guru as well as mastering print and design. While teaching myself Macromedia Director, Flash and other multi media applications.

Needles to say the variety of my experience and skills is vast at least. And while I still enjoy and continue to develop these skills. My eye is on the art that lives naturally inside me. The images on this site were not for commission, nor were they created for anyone's objectives. They exist only because they lived inside of me, and now are reflections of the art within.

The art within is neither light nor dark...rather it's the culmination of the parts that compose the whole. It's in this intricate balance that I find Zen.
